A time for everything

Ecc 3:1  Everything that happens in this world happens at the time God chooses.
2  He sets the time for birth and the time for death, the time for planting and the time for pulling up,
3  the time for killing and the time for healing, the time for tearing down and the time for building.
4  He sets the time for sorrow and the time for joy, the time for mourning and the time for dancing,
5  the time for making love and the time for not making love, the time for kissing and the time for not kissing.
6  He sets the time for finding and the time for losing, the time for saving and the time for throwing away,
7  the time for tearing and the time for mending, the time for silence and the time for talk.
8  He sets the time for love and the time for hate, the time for war and the time for peace.
Ecc 3:11  He has set the right time for everything. He has given us a desire to know the future, but never gives us the satisfaction of fully understanding what he does.

The Old Testament Book of Ecclesiastes has always been a favorite worldwide.

The Canadian Bible Society put the lovely scripture of the 3rd Chapter to Pachelbel's Canon in the accompanying video...and in so doing really nailed the poetry of The Book. As human beings we are never satisfied. There is lot of jealousy, attitude and conflicts between individuals because of the differences in status/positions that they do not have in common. This gave me a thought that the moment I feel what I have is enough for me, then I will feel happy. With this, I wrote the above quote.

But if it doesn't please you to worship the LORD, choose for
yourselves today the one you will worship: the gods your fathers
worshiped beyond the Euphrates River, or the gods of the Amorites in
whose land you are living. As for me and my family, we will worship
the LORD. Joshua 24:15

If you carefully obey My commands I am giving you today, to love the
LORD your God and worship Him with all your heart and all your soul, I
will provide rain for your land in season, the early and late rains,
and you will harvest your grain, new wine, and oil. I will provide
grass in your fields for your livestock. You will eat and be
satisfied. Be careful that you are not enticed to turn aside, worship,
and bow down to other gods. Then the LORD's anger will burn against
you. He will close the sky, and there will be no rain; the land will
not yield its produce, and you will perish quickly from the good land
the LORD is giving you. Deuteronomy 11:13-17

This is how we are sure that we have come to know Him: by keeping His
commands. 1 John 2:3
