For Getting to know Jesus

The three new websites are there on the net to bring people closer to the promised one who brings salvation for those who want to accept him and believe that he is the send one from God, the Kristos or Christ, the Messiah long awaited.

Because today there are still lots of people who do not want to accept what Jesus really says and really has done. They keep saying it was impossible for a man to do such thing as Jesus did. By saying so they nullify the act of Jesus and create a position where God could be thought of as a cruel God Who created human beings and imposed on them a Law which He knew they would never be able to keep.

We may not forget what happened in the Garden of Eden and how God provided a plan offering mankind a Redeemer.

On the newly created site "The human Jesus" Xavier Carlos Jimenez writes
The first we are aware of this is at Genesis 3:15, where we see the seed of the woman, that is a descendant of Eve, is the future Messiah. Jesus Christ is prophesied throughout the OT, but does not come into existence until the NT where his birth was foretold by the angel Gabriel to Mary (Luke 1:26-38).
In the knowledge that God is an eternal Spirit, having no beginning (no birth) and no end (cannot die) much more Christians should wonder who they praise and Who they should worship. We also know from the Biblical account that the Nazarene man Jeshua was going to be called a god, a special some one. though never was it the intention to have him being called the god son.
In Luke 1:32-33 Gabriel says,
“He will be great and will be called Son of the Most High. The Lord God will give him the throne of his father, David, and he will reign over Jacob’s descendants forever, and his Kingdom will never end” (cp. 1Chron 17:10-14).
Through a biological miracle God procreated Jesus in the womb of Mary, who was a virgin. “For this reason alone”, and no other, Jesus became the Son of God, descendant of King David of the tribe of Judah through Mary (Luke 1.35).
We should remember that it was only some two millennia ago that Jesus became an existing being on this earth. Before that he may have been written down in the books of life and death, but he did not exit yet as a real person. Already before Abraham was born he was in God's head, like Abraham, Isaac but also we are already in God's head and in those books. It was only after the prophet Mica and earlier prophets of the Hebrew writings that the send one from God became a reality in the flesh.

At the time of Joseph and Mary.
This was the moment when Jesus was begotten, that is, brought into existence. There is no pre-existence of Jesus Christ, and it is when we become aware of this fact through our prayerful study of Holy Scripture that we really get to know him as the human being that he was and remains.
Too many who call themselves Christian never read the whole Scripture (Old and New Testament) and often they only read some passages with their doctrinal glasses on.

Let yourself not being carried away by human doctrines but listen to the proper words of the Holy Scriptures. Read what is really written there. when there is written "son of God" do not read "god the son" or do not think "God" but think "Jesus" or just what is written their "son of God".
Knowing the truth about who is Jesus, we begin to see him in a whole new light. The scriptures open up to us more fully and we see how the prophesies in the OT are brought clearly into focus in the NT through the Good News of the Kingdom of God. We see our future as heirs ruling with Jesus in the Kingdom on earth, and we are humbled to think of such a privilege to be with our King. It is when we understand the true nature of Jesus Christ, that he is a man, and not a pre-existent God or part of a trinity, that we can really get to know him as our brother.
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and humanity, Christ Jesus, himself human” (1 Tim 2:5).

For those who believe Jesus is God

Jesus of Nazareth (book)
Jesus of Nazareth (book) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Those who think Jesus is God have they ever considered if they believe everything God Himself says?

When you believe Jesus is God do you believe that God is always telling the truth?  According to the Bible He does not tell lies.
“"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent; Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?” (Numbers 23:19 NAS)
“in order that by two unchangeable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have strong encouragement, we who have fled for refuge in laying hold of the hope set before us.” (Hebrews 6:18 NAS)
God also tells us it is impossible for man to see God and to live.
“But He said, "You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!"” (Exodus 33:20 NAS)
As such nobody has ever been able to see God. Though those who claim Jesus is God forget that Jesus was born and was seen by many people.

That man who was born some 2000 years ago (in 4bce) was the realisation of what God had spoken in the Garden of Eden. At that time of Roman oppression God His Word came into the flesh. He was the sent one from God who had to shed light on the world and had to make his heavenly Father to be known to many. When you look carefully at the texts of the Bible you should see that it was not God Himself who was there but some one else.
“He was not the light, but [came] that he might bear witness of the light.” (John 1:8 NAS)
“"Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.” (Isaiah 7:14 NAS)

“30 And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary; for you have found favor with God. 31 "And behold, you will conceive in your womb, and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. 32 "He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; 33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and His kingdom will have no end." 34 And Mary said to the angel, "How can this be, since I am a virgin?" 35 And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy offspring shall be called the Son of God.” (Luke 1:30-35 NAS)

“21  Now it came about when all the people were baptized, that Jesus also was baptized, and while He was praying, heaven was opened, 22 and the Holy Spirit descended upon Him in bodily form like a dove, and a voice came out of heaven, "Thou art My beloved Son, in Thee I am well-pleased." 23 And when He began His ministry, Jesus Himself was about thirty years of age, being supposedly [the] son of Joseph, the [son] of Eli,” (Luke 3:21-23 NAS)

“"[You know of] Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and [how] He went about doing good, and healing all who were oppressed by the devil; for God was with Him.” (Acts 10:38 NAS)

“Therefore, I will allot Him a portion with the great, And He will divide the booty with the strong; Because He poured out Himself to death, And was numbered with the transgressors; Yet He Himself bore the sin of many, And interceded for the transgressors.” (Isaiah 53:12 NAS)

The child born to us, is a son given to us, to be a mediator between man and God, being seated next to God in the heavens. We are told God gave him authority and as such the government will rest on his shoulders and his name will be called "Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.” (Isaiah 9:6) Of all the gods the world knows this god is not The God, like angels, Moses, Pharaoh, Baal and all others who are called god as well are also not The God. But of all those gods mentioned in the bible Jesus is the highest, though he was at first lower than angels.

It was only after Jesus having giving his body for the sins of others that he was made higher than angels.
“7 "Thou Hast Made Him For A Little While Lower Than The Angels; Thou Hast Crowned Him With Glory And Honor, And Hast Appointed Him Over The Works Of Thy Hands; 8 Thou Hast Put All Things In Subjection Under His Feet." For in subjecting all things to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we do not yet see all things subjected to him. 9 But we do see Him who has been made for a little while lower than the angels, [namely,] Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God He might taste death for everyone.” (Hebrews 2:7-9 NAS)
For those who believe Jesus is God did they realise that the Bible tells us no man can ever harm God and that death can not do anything to God. God being an eternal Spirit cannot die.

That Al-knowing eternal Spirit is the God of gods, Lord of lords or Lord of hosts.
“"For the LORD your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality, nor take a bribe.” (Deuteronomy 10:17 NAS)
Them telling that Jesus has to be God because he gave his blood to save us and now all people are saved for ever, do forget that a spirit has no blood and flesh and that Jesus after his death proofs to his disciples he is not a spirit.
“33 And they arose that very hour and returned to Jerusalem, and found gathered together the eleven and those who were with them, 34 saying, "The Lord has really risen, and has appeared to Simon." 35 And they [began] to relate their experiences on the road and how He was recognized by them in the breaking of the bread. 36  And while they were telling these things, He Himself stood in their midst. 37 But they were startled and frightened and thought that they were seeing a spirit. 38 And He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 "See My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself; touch Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have." 40 [And when He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet.]” (Luke 24:33-40 NAS)
“"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."” (John 4:24 NAS)
Jesus being a being of flesh, blood and bones told those around him that they should not worship him but his heavenly Father Who is the Only One True God, the God of Abraham. It was also that God Who said about Jesus that he was His only begotten son.

Those who say Jesus is God ignore all those saying from God and from Jesus, who knew very well he could not do anything without God his heavenly Father Who is greater than Jesus. In case Jesus would have been God they both would be of the same greatness.
“17  But He answered them, "My Father is working until now, and I Myself am working." 18 For this cause therefore the Jews were seeking all the more to kill Him, because He not only was breaking the Sabbath, but also was calling God His own Father, making Himself equal with God. 19 Jesus therefore answered and was saying to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, unless [it is] something He sees the Father doing; for whatever [the Father] does, these things the Son also does in like manner. 20 "For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself is doing; and greater works than these will He show Him, that you may marvel. 21 "For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, even so the Son also gives life to whom He wishes. 22 "For not even the Father judges anyone, but He has given all judgment to the Son, 23 in order that all may honor the Son, even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. 24 "Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life. 25 "Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear shall live. 26 "For just as the Father has life in Himself, even so He gave to the Son also to have life in Himself; 27 and He gave Him authority to execute judgment, because He is [the] Son of Man.” (John 5:17-27 NAS)
“27 "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. 28  "You heard that I said to you, ’I go away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I. 29 "And now I have told you before it comes to pass, that when it comes to pass, you may believe. 30 "I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me; 31 but that the world may know that I love the Father, and as the Father gave Me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go from here.” (John 14:27-31 NAS)

Those who claim Jesus had to be God because otherwise we could not be saved should wonder if that does not mean God would have been a horrible potentate Who created rules or commandments of which He knew nobody could keep them.

Therefore we would like to propose to you to continue reading about this mater.

Believing what Jesus says

How many people are really willing to believe what Jesus says. In Christendom we do find many Christians who prefer to keep to the traditional doctrines of the doctrinal churches, instead of willing to take the words of the Bible like they are written there.

The barrier to fully accepting Jesus’ words is the cost involved in following him and his teachings. To follow his teachings, and the teaching of the Bible at large, requires a different type of focus. That is, one not focussed upon material or present benefits, but rather upon following the truths of God no matter what the present cost, because something far greater has been purposed and promised by God.
You as a Christian or as a unbeliever, what do you want to come to believe? Where do you want to put your focus?

What does it mean to you when Jesus says God is greater than him? What does it mean when he says we do have to pray to God his Father and do not may worship him, but should give all honour to the Only One Divine God, Creator of heaven and earth?

Jesus concentrated himself on the words and works of his heavenly Father and asked others not to focus on his (Jesus) works, because he (Jesus) could do nothing without his Father. Jesus his focus was on his heavenly Father who had appeared above him and had spoken "This is my beloved son." How many Christians are willing to accept those words of God Who spoke about His only begotten son?

Do you want to focus on the doctrines of the many churches, or are you willing to focus on the Word of God as it is presented to the world in the Bible?

The meek one riding on an ass

In several denominations of Christendom they look forward to Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday.

In the Catholic faith some still do know Lent and fast a few day, instead of the forty days of our childhood.
For all Christians the coming days should be days of reflection. It should be a time where people think about the moral and spiritual effect of forgiveness and reconciliation with God.

In the old times offers where brought to God and in certain Christian denomination time was also taken to bring offers in those forty days leading up to Easter Sunday. But no human or animal sacrifices are required or requested by God: it is sufficient that his Son died once and for all on the wooden stake. It is not necessary for us to kill anyone or anything in order to please God.

Palm Sunday will be, for many Christians, the beginning of what they consider the holiest week of the year.
After the ministry of Christ Jesus in and around Perea and after the mother of Zebedee asked Jesus to grant  her sons a place next to him in his Kingdom, Jesus had told her that it was not up to him to grant a place on his right or left, but that those places belong to his Father.

20   then the mother of Zebedee’s children came to him with her sons, worshiping and desiring a certain thing from him. 21  and he said to her, what do you desire? she said to him, grant that these my two sons may sit in your kingdom, the one on your right hand and the other on the left. 22  but jesus answered and said, you do not know what you ask. are you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? they said to him, we are able. 23  and he said to them, you shall indeed drink of my cup and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit on my right hand and on my left is not mine to give, but to those for whom it has been prepared by my father.” (Matthew 20:20-23 MKJV)

From Jericho Jesus approached Jerusalem, they came to Beit-Pagei (or Bethphage) on the mount of olives. Jeshua sent two talmidim with instructions to go into the village ahead of them and to bring him the donkey with its colt they found there. Jesus in order to fulfill what had been spoken through the prophet went riding humbly on a donkey, and on a colt, the offspring of a beast of burden.

1   and when they drew near Jerusalem (Jerushalayim), and had come to Bethphage, to the mount of olives, then jesus sent two disciples, 2  saying to them, go into the village across from you. and immediately you will find an ass tied, and a colt with her. Untie them and bring them to me. 3  and if anyone says anything to you, you shall say, the lord has need of them, and immediately he will send them. 4  all this was done so that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, 5  tell the daughter of Zion, behold, your king comes to you, meek, and sitting on an ass, even a colt the foal of an ass.” (Matthew 21:1-5 MKJV)

Palm Sunday gets its name from the next event, when Jesus enter the district not on foot – his usual means of transport – but on the back of a donkey. A very great multitude spread their garments in the path; while others cut branches from trees and spread them on the road. There were multitudes that went before, and that followed him, who cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord Jehovah; Hosanna in the highest.

8  and a very great crowd spread their garments in the way. others cut down branches from the trees and spread them in the way. 9  and the crowds who went before, and those who followed, cried out, saying, Hosanna to the son of David! blessed is he who comes in the name of the lord! Hosanna in the highest! 10  and when he had come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, who is this? 11  and the crowd said, this is jesus the prophet, from Nazareth of Galilee. 12   and jesus went into the temple of god and cast out all those who sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the money-changers, and the seats of those who sold doves.” (Matthew 21:8-12 MKJV)

So before Jesus entered the house of God, the holy temple, he was welcomed as a king. But soon his position became questioned by the chief priests.

23  and when he had come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came to him as he was teaching, and said, by what authority do you do these things? and who gave you this authority? 24  and jesus answered and said to them, I will also ask you one thing; which if you tell me, I likewise will tell you by what authority I do these things. 25  the baptism of John, where was it from? from heaven or from men? and they reasoned within themselves, saying, if we shall say, from heaven, he will say to us, why then did you not believe him? 26  but if we shall say from men, we fear the people; for all consider John as a prophet. 27  and they answered jesus and said, we cannot tell. and he said to them, neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.” (Matthew 21:23-27 MKJV)

We do not know the judgement of Jehovah. (Jeremiah 8:7) and like in Jesus time today many so called wise man and theologians have turned away from the word of Jehovah; and what wisdom is in them? (Jeremiah 8:9)  The law of truth was in Jesus his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his lips. His words were written down by his talmidim and it are those gospels from those disciples we should also take at heart.

Many Christians have like the Pharisees, priests and people in Jesus's time departed from the way; and have caused many to stumble at the law. (Malachi 2:8)

28  and even as they did not think fit to have god in their knowledge, god gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do the things not right, 29  being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; being full of envy, murder, quarrels, deceit, evil habits, becoming whisperers, 30  backbiters, haters of god, insolent, proud, braggarts, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31  undiscerning, perfidious, without natural affection, unforgiving, unmerciful; 32  who, knowing the righteous order of god, that those practicing such things are worthy of death, not only do them, but have pleasure in those practicing them.” (Romans 1:28-32 MKJV)
Many did forget who is really King and who is really God. Many made themselves several gods and several kings. Others say they have one god and one king but who is thee gods, God the Father, god the son and God the Holy Spirit. they forget that God can not be tempted and can not die. Because the man of flesh and blood who entered the gates of Jerusalem as a king seated on a donkey, was Jeshua, who had been tempted many times and who was soon going to be tortured until death.

The Messiah Asserts his authority over Jerusalem. Jesus’ authority over Jerusalem is revealed in his triumphal entry (Matthew 21:1–11), actions in the temple (Matthew 21:12–17), cursing the fig tree (Matthew 21:18–22), debates with religious leaders (Matthew 21:23–22:46), and woes pronounced on the teachers of the law and the Pharisees (Matthew 23:1–39).

The disciples of Christ noticed how there were many controversies in the Temple Court over Jesus’ authority. On Tuesday of Holy Week, Jesus presents three extended parables showing God’s judgement on the leaders for not encouraging the people to accept Jesus’ invitation to the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 21:28–22:14). This is followed by a series of four interactions as the religious leaders try to trap Jesus, who in turn reveals his true identity as the Son of God (Matthew 22:15–46).

We may look at king Christ, the one who has received the keys of the Kingdom from his Father until he will return the Kingdom back to the most High.

Do we want to accept that ruler and take him for what he really was and is? Or do we want to stay blind and fill in our own worldly idea of a kingdom and a king?

Are we willing to accept that this man, send from God, a prophet and messenger from God, was loving his Father so much that he was willing to obey Him even into death? And that after he died he was made higher by his Father to become mediator between God and man, being the high-priest seated in the heaven at the right hand of God. His throne is called the “throne of grace” which believers can approach with confidence through faith in the once-for-all sacrifice Jesus made on the stake. We are no longer limited to worshipping God in the earthly tabernacle (temple), but we can worship Him through the spiritual tabernacle of our bodies accessing the heavenly tabernacle in heaven.

And these coming days we can remember how Jesus in the upperroom and in the garden of olives said praise to his Father. How he intensely prayed to the most High.

It is in these coming days that we do remember how Jesus came together with his disciples to have a meal of remembrance in honour of what God had given unto the world and for remembering the New Covenant sealed by Jesus his death.
Through Christ, we can now serve our God through our faith in Jesus Christ the Messiah and by proclaiming our hope in the coming Kingdom. We know that it is thanks to God that the offer of Jeshua, Jesus Christ we are saved and that he has called us and made us into a kingdom of priests under the new and eternal covenant.

Do we want our ears tickled and hold fast on false teachings and on Easter traditions of the world? Or are we willing to take this time in consideration to think about the role the Jew Jeshua  (Jesus Christ) played?
