Bible ownership and Bible knowledge slumped

In the UK household ownership of the Bible has slumped, readership of the Bible has declined (with only around one in ten reading it at least weekly and three-quarters less than once a year, or never).

In the midst of previous century Europeans could be surprised when they came into Great-Britain finding so many churches full of people and finding a popular BBC program like Songs of praise.

The 'Journal of Contemporary Religion published 123 national sample surveys of the UK adult general population. Also the analysis, published by Clive Field, from the Universities of Birmingham and Manchester, included as well 35 national and local sample surveys of adult religious populations.

Entitled, 'Is the Bible Becoming a Closed Book? British Opinion Poll Evidence', the investigation suggests one interpretation of this mass of data might be that Christianity is becoming 'de-coupled' from the book on which it is founded.

It is not only a problem in Great Britain that we can hear people talking about their faith and telling about believes which have nothing to do any more with what is written in the Bible.
Many churches had already gone astray for some years but the population not only got mist in their eyes from the many sermons but also continue to be carried away by more magical or fantasy rich ideas which could let have them dream about many things, like having their soul going into an other body or at an other place when they die.

Knowledge of the content of the Bible is decreasing in the UK like it is everywhere in Europe.
Many also lost the faith in the truth of the Bible. Some also because they became confronted with the contradiction form what the Bible said and what their pastors or priests said. Only a small and dwindling minority believes the Bible to be true, word for word. Key storylines in the Bible -- Creation, Virgin Birth, gospel miracles, Resurrection -- are being progressively rejected as historically inaccurate.

Elohim, Mar-Yah showing His wonders

There may be lots of people who are not interested in God or who do not belief in God. Though all created in the image of God, all have also some feeling for the Divine Creator in them. Also when we look around us we can see many wonders of nature, get to see special signs in our life and in the lives of others.

The God of gods teaches the people of all nations. He gives them signs and has given His Word to all human beings, so that they can hear His voice. The Elohim, Mar-Yah, wants His people to  keep His commandments. God showed the World what He can do and gave the people many things by which they could see the Work of the Hands of the Most High Who also taught them statutes and ordinances.

For our wisdom and our understanding God has given His Word and produced signs and wonders. All His Master-works were made in the sight of the peoples, who shall hear all these statutes. (Deuteronomy 4:6)
Deu 4:9-10 AESV Torah  Only take heed to yourself, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children's children;  (10)  the day that you stood before Mar-Yah your God in Horeb, when Mar-Yah said to me, "Assemble me the people, and I will make them hear my words, that they may learn to fear me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children."
We should hear the voice of words and see the signs and miracles in this world. we do have to seek Mar-Yah our God, and when we open our eyes and heart to Him we shall find him, when we search after him with all our heart and with all our soul. God will not fail those who look for Him with a sincere heart, neither destroy them, nor forget the covenant of their fathers which He swore to them. (Deuteronomy 4: 29,31)

Deu 4:32-40 AESV Torah  For ask now of the days that are past, which were before you, since the day that God created man on the earth, and from the one end of the sky to the other, whether there has been any such thing as this great thing is, or has been heard like it?  (33)  Did ever a people hear the voice of God speaking out of the midst of the fire, as you have heard, and live?  (34)  Or has God tried to go and take him a nation from the midst of another nation, by trials, by signs, and by wonders, and by war, and by a mighty hand, and by an outstretched arm, and by great terrors, according to all that Mar-Yah your God did for you in Egypt before your eyes?  (35)  It was shown to you so that you might know that Mar-Yah is God. There is no one else besides him.  (36)  Out of heaven he made you to hear his voice, that he might instruct you: and on earth he made you to see his great fire; and you heard his words out of the midst of the fire.  (37)  Because he loved your fathers, therefore he chose their seed after them, and brought you out with his presence, with his great power, out of Egypt;  (38)  to drive out nations from before you greater and mightier than you, to bring you in, to give you their land for an inheritance, as at this day.  (39)  Know therefore this day, and lay it to your heart, that Mar-Yah he is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is none else.  (40)  You shall keep his statutes, and his commandments, which I command you this day, that it may go well with you, and with your children after you, and that you may prolong your days in the land, which Mar-Yah your God gives you, forever.

Prayer has the power to change mountains into highways

"Prayer has the power to change mountains into highways."
- Wesley L. Duewel

"Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done. If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer.""
