  1. 18There is no fear in love [dread does not exist], but full-grown (complete, perfect) love turns fear out of doors and expels every trace of terror! For fear brings with it the thought of punishment, and [so] he who is afraid has not reached the full maturity of love [is not yet grown into love's complete perfection]. 1 John 4:18

  2. 37Jesus answered:    Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and mind. 38This is the first and most important commandment. 39The second most important commandment is like this one. And it is, “Love others as much as you love yourself.” Matt. 22:37-39

Jesus said to his disciples, “If you love me you will keep my commandments.”

We love God when our sincere desire is to please God with all that we have.

As Christians we should follow our Master Teacher Jesus Christ and do what his Father wants from us and how we can please God.When we love God we find that we have love for people too because God sheds His love in our hearts through which we are able to love others.
