Sommigen vrezen dat er misbruik wordt gemaakt van migratie. Men kan natuurlijk niet ontkennen dat Indonesië, Maleisië, Centraal Azië en
delen van India dankzij migratie werden geïslamiseerd. Dat migratie slechts een verkapte verovering is en dat de veroveringstocht der islamieten pas zal eindigen wanneer de hele
wereld is veroverd gaat een brug te ver.
Het is niet omdat er nu 57 staten zijn waarin de islam regeert dat zij werkelijk de hele wereld zal gaan veroveren. Diegenen die hier zo voor bang zijn zouden zich best eens afvragen waarom de Islam zo de harten van heel veel mensen kan veroveren.

Angst en verlossing van het kwaad

Negenduizend gelovige respondenten, christenen als moslims, in zes Europese landen werden bevraagd, of ze het eens waren met enkele fundamentalistische stellingen. Zonder uitzondering antwoordden meer moslims dan christenen positief. Ook zijn moslims minder verdraagzaam dan christenen tegenover andersdenkenden als homo’s of joden. Het onderzoek werd gepubliceerd in het ‘Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies’. Tot nu toe heeft het in de brede pers weinig weerklank gekregen, hoewel de resultaten opmerkelijk zijn, maar de Standaard bracht het nu in het openbaar.
In elke geloofsgroep kan men gematigden maar ook fundamentalisten vinden. In Amerika vallen de christen fundamentalisten hard op terwijl in Europa de moslim fundamentalisten meer in de kijker lopen, terwijl sommige amerikanen hun burgers voor zulke fanaten bang willen maken en willen doen geloven dat Europa wordt ingepalmd door de islamieten.
Wii mogen niet over het hoofd zien dat de terreurbeweging de idee van een overstrenge islam de wereld wil insturen, maar dat de meerderheid van de moslims helemaal niet zulk een leer aan hangt. Wel moet gezegd geworden dat bij de moslims de gelovigen zich werkelijk opmerkelijk beter houden aan hun geloofsregels dan bijvoorbeeld de katholieken die vele regels van hun kerk aan hun laars lappen. Vasten, voorbehoedsmiddelen of geboortebeperking zijn zaken die mensen naar eigen believen beheren en omtrent misvieringen is er helemaal geen getrouwheid aan de kerk.
De meerderheid van de moslims in Europa beleeft, tegenover de christenen in Europa, haar geloof wel op een volstrekt onproblematische manier en de meerderheid leest wel hun heilige geschriften. Bij de katholieken wordt die Heilige Schrift raar of zelden opgepikt. De meerderheid van hen die zich katholiek noemt heeft zelfs geen bijbel (Oude en Nieuwe Testament) in huis, laat staan heeft het ooit helemaal gelezen.
Vanaf 30 maart 2016, kan iedereen die met vragen over de islam zit, bellen naar een gratis infonummer. Het is een initiatief waarmee de Vlaamse tak van de Moslimexecutieve radicalisering onder jongeren de pas wil afsnijden. Het kadert in het actieplan deradicalisering van Vlaams minister Liesbeth Homans (N-VA). Zij subsidieert het project met 60.000 euro.
Een veel gehoorde analyse over de radicalisering van moslimjongeren is dat hun kennis over het geloof te wensen overlaat, waardoor ze makkelijk vatbaar zijn voor extremistisch gedachtegoed.
‘Daar willen wij met deze infolijn iets aan doen’,zegt Mohamed Achaïbi, de voorzitter van het Nederlandstalig college van de Moslimexecutieve.
In 2013 verscheen er al een boek waarin Bilal Benyaich, politicoloog, verbonden aan de VUB, en werkzaam bij de Sociaal-Economische Raad van Vlaanderen, met medewerking van onderzoeker Zibar Omar de 'islambeleving en het radicalisme bij Marokkanen in Brussel' bestudeerde . Zijn boek is belangrijk, onder meer omdat het geschreven is door een intelligente ‘tussenfiguur’, door iemand die twee werelden kent. Benyaich is immers niet alleen een Diestenaar die tien jaar geleden naar de hoofdstad verhuisde, hij is ook de zoon van Marokkaanse migranten.
“Niet-moslims weten weinig over de islam”,vertelt islamitisch hulpverlener Hafid Mahla.
“In de media vind je alleen maar negatieve berichten en dan zijn er ook nog eens rechtse partijen die enorm veel angst zaaien.”Door al dat negatieve en doordat vele mensen IS beginnen te personaliseren met Islam worden de ware moslims in een hoek gedrongen, wat ook tot gevaarlijke situaties kan leiden. Vergelijk het maar met een dier dat in de hoek wordt gedreven en geen uitweg meer ziet.
Naar hulpverleners en straatwerkers groeit er ook een wantrouwen.
"Mensen durven eigenlijk geen vragen te stellen. Vaak vertel ik dan maar uit mezelf, maar het is heel lastig om verdacht te worden van iets waar je niets aan kunt doen.”Als er al vragen worden gesteld, zijn dit volgens Mahla de verkeerde vragen.
“Dan wordt gevraagd naar het verschil tussen jou en een terrorist. Sommige moslims gaan de discussies aan, andere nemen afstand van de islam.”Het moet ook gezegd worden dat de ontgoddelijkte levenswijze waar nog weinig goede moraal heerst een bijdrage levert voor vele jongeren om ook op zoek te gaan naar de ware waarden in het leven. Hierbij hopen zij een houvast te vinden in strikte regels die hen heel aannemelijk zijn om een beter leven te brengen. Die zoekenden worden dan ook een gemakkelijke prooi voor sterke en financieel goed gerunde organisaties, waarbij hun sektes zich over de gehele wereld verspreiden.

Intisar -dit is een schuilnaam- is een 23-jarige Antwerpse moslima die onder invloed van Sharia4Belgium geradicaliseerd is en wou aansluiten bij IS in Syrië. Doordat zij toen zij een hoofddoek ging dragen een kruis over haar gezet kreeg, werd zij door haar Belgische landgenoten meer in de hoek gedrongen en gedreven naar het juk van Daesh, waar zo veel landgenoten zo bang voor zijn, en het hierdoor meer zeggingskracht geven.
Zij voelde zich in België niet meer thuis en wilde weg. Zij begon zich ook schuldig te voelen door hier in het Westen te blijven wonen en deel uit te maken van een gemeenschap die de Islam haat en zelfs 'wenst uit te roeien'. Twee maal probeerde zij zelf naar Syrië te gaan, maar dat mislukte. Uiteindelijk waren het de aanslagen in Parijs die ze aan het denken ztte. Ook voor haar kwam dat punt dat veel westerlingen ook eens best zouden hebben. Om na te gaan waarvoor IS of Daesh werkelijk staat en wat de leer van de Islam werkelijk inhoudt.
De gebeurtenissen in Parijs deden har dan ook inzien dat IS een valse profeet is en bracht haar terug met hara twee voeten op de grond waardoor het deradicaliseringsproces kon beginnen. Samen met jihadexpert Montasser Alde'emeh schreef ze haar verhaal neer om vrouwen te waarschuwen. Het boek heet: "Mijn Verlossing van het Kwaad".

Of Kings And Prophets a Biblically-themed network television
On Tuesday, March 8 at 10PM a Biblically-themed network television, called Of Kings And Prophets, debuted on ABC.

The show attempted to tell the story of King David’s ascent to the throne and King Saul’s demise. While an exciting premise, ABC failed to deliver a product that resonated with most viewers. Of Kings and Prophets downplayed religious themes in favor of sex, violence, and intrigue for entertainment value.
ABC also took plenty of artistic licenses and made some odd character choices. For example, the prophet Samuel was portrayed as a jealous, bloodthirsty, and senile old man who misrepresented the will of Elohim. Samuel ordered Saul to annihilate the Amalekites seemingly out of spite, not because God wanted it.

In being faithful to the scriptures, we decided not to shy away from the sexuality and violence that is either implied or explicit in the text. To do so, would sanitize the reality of the biblical time and place, while at the same time bypassing important parallels that we still confront and struggle with today. We made this choice to open a conversation about how one reconciles faith with the realities of the world—whether in ancient Israel or in the contemporary U.S.It seems there has to be some violence shown in the show.
We assumed we might be met with some resistance from Biblical literalists, as there is always the chance when dealing with religious material that faith-based audiences might negatively react to our interpretation of scriptural inconsistencies.
Surprisingly though, the most vitriolic criticism has not come from faith-based viewers, but from secular media outlets and bloggers, many of whom argued that the war, violence and brutality depicted in the show would alienate religious viewers. Clearly, these reviewers are unfamiliar with the Bible.Today we hear also lots of people criticising the Koran and Muslims because they would keep to all sorts of cruel stories. But those complaining about those violent stories do forget or do not know that those same stories can be found in the Jewish as well as the Christian Bible.
People should be aware that
The world of the Old Testament, as described in the Bible, is often brutal and violent—a world where slavery and rape were the victor’s prerogative, and genocide was an accepted approach to foreign policy. The faithful know this better than anyone.It are often the kafir or non-believers and those who do not know the religious texts who go in attack against one or the other religion. In Christendom we also have lots of people who have taken Jesus as their god instead of believing what Jesus and God say about each other. Many of those so called Christians do not know the other true Christians, who in Christianity proclaim only One True God, the God of Abraham, like the God of the Jews and the God of Muslims.

Obama zegt dat Jezus een goed medicijn is tegen angst

Donderdag bezocht de Amerikaanse president Barack Obama het jaarlijkse 'prayer breakfast' waar hij de aanwezige
christenen opriep om angst af te wijzen.
"Want God geeft niet een geest van lafhartigheid, maar van kracht, liefde en bezonnenheid."
Velen worden door de onzekere tijden overmand door angst, vooral voor het ongekende. De grote vluchtelingenstroom en het terreurbewind van bepaalde Islamistische groepen heeft hen angst voor de Islam bezorgt. Maar indien zij sterk zouden staan in hun geloof in Christus of in hun geloof in God, zouden zij helemaal niet bang hoeven te zijn."Ik bid dat we door Zijn genade deze moed zullen tonen. Niet alleen tijdens dit soort gebedsbijeenkomsten, maar ook op andere momenten. Ook wanneer het moeilijk is. Als we te maken hebben met uitdagingen, boosheid of wanneer iemand het niet met ons eens is." (...) "
Voorzeker is Jezus een goed medicijn tegen angst. Van zijn voorbeeld kunnen wij zeer veel leren. Als wij zijn leerstelling na leven kan ons al heel veel moeilijkheden gespaard blijven.
De Bijbel vertelt ons ook dat Jezus, als zoon van God voor ons nu bij zijn hemelse Vader is, waar hij aan Gods rechterhand zit als bemiddelaar tussen God en mens. Daar staat hij in deze tumultueuze tijd achter ons en wijst hij ons de weg. Het is zijn liefde die ons ook die kracht moet en zal geven om ons weerbaar te maken. Hij kan er mee voor zorgen dat wij angst en verleidingen kunnen weerstaan en de kloof met anderen kan wegnemen.
Indien jij je aan Jezus geeft is hij daar om jou moed te geven en om jou op te doen komen voor het goede, ook wanneer dat ons niet populair maakt.

Putin's Handy use of the Russian Orthodox Church

In the Soviet Union it was the state which had the strings in their hands. Today in a certain way the strings may have changed hands into the ones of the Russian Orthodox priests. But they are just the puppet-strings of the man in power.
For some years now president Vladimir Putin knows to direct everything according to his dictatorial will. He also very well knows what he needs to have his acts agreed with by the majority of the people. For this reason he holds a very firm grip on the Russian Orthodox Church which raised from the ashes as if it was never forbidden in the Soviet Union.
In spite of Putin’s firm grip on power and the absence of credible opposition in the country, Putin can’t risk another uprising like the one in 2011.{Christianization of Warfare: Putin’s manipulation of history}The last few years we could see that Putin is slippery as an eel. He knows that by giving food and games he can win the people. Not providing them with enough money to stay alive it probably thinks it is much safer to give people hopes and some institutions where they can go to to loose themselves in thoughts of better times.
It is only with the help of the church that Putin could rally most of the Russians on his side despite some disgruntlement in some sections of orthodox Slav society.
The fact that the Russians generally do not display religiosity in public shouldn’t deceive us from the reality; the orthodox Christianity is the part of “Russian identity”, comparable with “Turkishness” that also, in some degree, means Islam.{Christianization of Warfare: Putin’s manipulation of history}In the tradition of Stalin and Lenin, Putin knows to direct his country and bring it in the adventures he loves, in the hope to become a bigger personality to be remembered in history.
Obviously, he would not go for the erstwhile soviet communism or socialism anymore. People could say the whole lot of things; though in reality Russians are prone to easily buy the glorious age of the soviet empire, without favouring its Marxist-Leninist value system.{Christianization of Warfare: Putin’s manipulation of history}Putin has found a very good solution by searchings deep inside Russian history, where he finds the Russian Orthodox Church, an institution that despite some oddities is still worth eulogizing because of its resilience even during the protracted Soviet era.
The church, despite its rise in Russia just during the middle ages, had served as the only “national” identity; majority of Russians could remember and accept it more than the defunct Marxist value. It teaches them, amongst others, that mother Russia is always in danger from outside barbarians, and it is one of their sacred duties to do preemptive strikes far away to save the nation. {Christianization of Warfare: Putin’s manipulation of history}People do love tradition and lots of spiritual rituals. They love all the ostentation the Orthodox Church is offering them. In those churches they can burn candles and ask for blessings.
The priest have lots of time in a long service to convince people their national leader is doing the best for the country and is fighting against the godless people in the East.
As in the old times the Russian Orthodox Church has found the barbarians to fight against and to ask their churchgoers to fund their necessary tasks to protect the nation for further decay by such ungodly people.
Putin is a graduate of soviet intelligence academy. He knows how to manipulate/herding people into his frame. So when he wants to legitimize his war, he would brand name the adventure to make it as a war against the Orthodox Church. With his autocratic apparatus he then spreads that framing, using everything including Christening and blessing the aircrafts and the missiles being used in Syria while presenting that his war against ISIL in Syria is also the orthodox’s war. {Christianization of Warfare: Putin’s manipulation of history}
However, the question that must be baffling to Putin and his war veterans shamelessly involved in killing the innocent Syrians is whether his manipulation of history by linking Russian warfare with orthodox Christianity would ever succeed. The reply is definitely in the negative, particularly in view of the majority of the Russians living with communism in depth of their hearts. Government school classroom assignment on world religions in discussion and Islamophobia gone wild

“There is no god but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.”For the first part the Christian Americans should not be afraid because they too should believe that there is only One God, only Allah the Elohim Adonai, Hashem Jehovah. the God of Abraham should be the only One true God for Jews, Christians and Muslims.
It can not be called bad to have during a world geography class to have the students to feel how it is to live in a certain area and to dress like the people who live in such area. I would call that a very good integrated lesson.
Parents being infuriated to see that their children learned Arabic should know that it is a language spoken in many countries and in case Westerners would be able to read and understand it they could understand much more what is written on slogans and in books and could answer the right way to those speaking about the Arabic books or saying something wrong what would so called be written in those books.The lesson of the day focused on world religions, among them Islam. As part of the assignment, social studies teacher Cheryl LaPorte had her ninth-grade students copy a piece of Arabic text known as the shahada, which is the most common Islamic creed.Recitation of the shahada in public is the first formal step in conversion to Islam. However, according to school officials, the ninth-graders were not asked to translate the statement or read it aloud.Students were also shown copies of the Koran, and female students were invited to try on a scarf as part of a lesson about the Islamic concept of modest dress.
It is also totally wrong to think a teacher would indoctrinate her pupils by talking about the Islam faith or any other faith and to have their kids reading the books of that faith.
Parent Kimberly Herndon was infuriated when her son came home with the assignment sheet from Mrs LaPorte’s world geography class.‘When I saw the language, the Arabic language, immediately I had a bad feeling come over me,’ the mother of six told NBC29.Herndon, who is a devout Christian, accused the teacher of indoctrinating unsuspecting students into the Islamic faith. The mother has not sent her son back to school since the incident and said she would be willing to take this case all the way to the US Supreme Court if she must.‘She [LaPorte] gave up the Lord’s time,’ Herndon said of the religious lesson when speaking to the Staunton News Leader. ‘She gave it up and gave it to Mohammed.’

Even more strange that such an exclusion would take place in the UnitedThe Augusta County parent on Tuesday organized a meeting attended by more than 100 people at Good New Ministries to discuss the controversial calligraphy lesson.Debbie Ballew, a former English teacher who was present up at the public forum, said had she asked her students to copy a passage from the Bible, she would have lost her job.

It’s a sad state of affairs when we’ve reached the point where children can’t even learn what Arabic or Islam is without offending someone’s fragile sensibilities.
There are countries, like Belgium where religious education is obligatory and children have to learn about all major religions of the world. As such they learn about the monotheist faiths and about several heathen religions. Having to read the Torah, Nevim, Kethuvim Aleph, Kethuvim Bet (or Messianic Scriptures or New Testament), the Koran and certain Buddhist and Hindy sacred scriptures they can get a pretty idea what the believers of those faiths should follow.
In lots of faiths we do see that fundamentalist can get so strong because many followers of them do not get to know their Holy Scriptures very well.
In many countries we also see that lots of people do not know their own Sacred Scriptures, and that is why we see lots of them not living according to the faith rules of the books they are so called to follow.
Having children to know the other culture can best be done by dumpling them under in such a culture.
This is a very good way to have children getting an idea about a culture and about how people who live in a certain area can feel themselves or how they have to live.
Ideal would be to have them dress, eat and having to do the same activities as others would have to do in the region studied or when it would be about camps and torturing to have a sort of experience what it would be in such a camps and under such interrogation. In Latvia (Letland) people can have such an experience how it was under Soviet regime. In the Riga camp special tours are organised to 'undergo' one day or 'a day and a night' a similar experience the prisoners would have had. Many people eyes are opened by such experiences and come to appreciate the values of the democratic free countries much more.
Congratulations for the teacher who dared to tackle the difficult subject and has done a lot of preparation to work out her class.

Europa zal duidelijke lijnen moeten trekken en zij die in onze regio willen komen wonen sullen duidelijk moeten gemaakt worden dat men hier openheid van gedachten wenst te behouden. Indien zij heir niet mee akkoord kunnen gaan hoeven zij hier niet te wonen. Indien zij hun eigen gedachtegoed aan anderen willen opdringen zal de maatschappij dadelijk streng moeten optrekken en hen ernstig berispen met verwittiging van mogelijke uitwijzing.
Maar ook al de ingezetenen van Europa zullen akkoord moeten gaan met een algemene vrijheid van religie, waarin ook de uitoefening van het Islamietische geloof past. Echter zoals het ook voor de katholieken zal duidelijk moeten zijn past het niet om op bepaalde tijdstippen iedereen door geroep of klokkengelui anderen kenbaar te maken dat men tot gebed wordt opgeroepen. Zowel het schreeuwen door luidsprekers als klokkengelui zouden niet mogen, doordat men dan anderen verveeld met het geloof waar zij geen kennis van willen nemen.
