Yeshua a man with a special personality

We can find in the New Testament a man with an outstanding personality. One who gives striking evidence of extraordinary powers in the miracles he performs; he makes the most penetrating observations about human life, and faith, and the true worship of God; and his claims concerning himself, as the only source of life to come, are such as no one else would dare to make.

Ook mensen met een leeshandicap worden hiermee in staat gesteld de Bijbel zelf te lezen.
Dr. Jaap van Dorp, coördinator Bijbelwetenschappen Oude Testament bij het NBG (Nederlands Bijbelgenootschap) en betrokken bij het project de Bijbel in Gewone Taal: “Als je een Bijbelvertaling in gewone taal moet maken, kun je maar een heel beperkte woordenschat gebruiken van niet meer dan 3.000 woorden. Je moet ook oppassen met het gebruik van beeldspraak. Beeldspraak maakt een tekst moeilijker. Een uitdrukking als ‘Gods nieuwe wereld’ kan prima. 'Gods nieuwe wereld' is veel concreter dan 'het koninkrijk van de hemel’.”

Sister Janet Ribaudo loosing her battle

Our dear sister Janet Ribaudo knew and believed in her heart that she will stand again at the ressurection, but she had still to be part of this world full of pain. Now she is loosing her battle with her evil brain tumor.

One of Sister Janet's favorite verses is found in Isaiah 40:30 "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint."

May this day come soon when all suffering and sorrow will flee away.

At this time, we ask that you keep Brother John, Sister Melinda, Brother Luke and Brother Jacob along with the extended Ribaudo and Link families in your thoughts and prayers. May God comfort them all during this time of sorrow and greif.
