The chosen ones to fear or not to fear

Jas 2:5 The Scriptures 1998+  (5)  Listen, my beloved brothers: Has Elohim not chosen the poor of this world, rich in belief and heirs of the reign which He promised to those who love Him?

Isa 29:19 The Scriptures 1998+  (19)  And the meek ones shall increase their joy in יהוה {Jehovah} and the poor among men rejoice in the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl.

**

The apostles did not have it easy, having the Judaic people looking cautious at them and some hating those followers of Christ.
Peter found also that all things were continuing as they were from the beginning of creation, by which he meant 'not well'. Man had taken opposition to God and as adversaries they made their voices stronger by the years.
At the time of the apostles most people also deliberately ignored the records of God's actions in the past, discounting them as fiction. They laughed at those who wanted to believe the scrolls which were read at the synagogues. And about Jesus we can imagine how they laughed at this king who never got his kingdom, though he said he could destroy the temple and raise it up again in three days.

James let those who wondered question if God had not chosen those who are poor in the world to be rich in faith? But who then would be able to become a partaker of that kingdom of which that man who died told so lively?

Psalm 46 tells us we have a very present help in trouble and therefore we shall not have to fear, though the earth do change.
Psa 46:1-2 The Scriptures 1998+  (1)  Elohim is our refuge and strength, A help in distress, soon found.  (2)  Therefore we do not fear, Though the earth reels And mountains topple into the heart of the seas.
Those who live according the words of Jeshua, Jesus Christ the son of God, who clarified many Words of God, must be feeling God coming near to them.

Nations may rage, the kingdoms being moved, but those who are willing to hear the voice of God shall see that Yahweh-tzvaot is with them and that the God of Jacob shall be their refuge.

Even when Jehovah God would have made desolations in the earth, full of  wars to cease unto the end of the earth; it is Him Who breaks the bow, and cuts the weapons in sunder so that all people may come to know Him Who is the Only One God, Father of Christ Jesus.

Hear what God says:
Psa 46:10 The Scriptures 1998+  (10)  Be still, and know that I am Elohim; I am exalted among nations, I am exalted in the earth!
Put your strength out of Him and His offering, His son, and proclaim the Good News of His Kingdom, looking forward to the return of Christ, when after the Big Battle with the most terrible pains shall come peace and tranquillity.

Mat 5:3-11 The Scriptures 1998+  (3)  “Blessed are the poor in spirit, because theirs is the reign of the heavens.  (4)  “Blessed are those who mourn, because they shall be comforted.  (5)  “Blessed are the meek, because they shall inherit the earth.1 Footnote: 1Ps. 37:9, 11, 22, 29, 34.  (6)  “Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,1 because they shall be filled. Footnote: 1Isa. 55:1-2, Mt. 4:4, John 6:48-51.  (7)  “Blessed are the compassionate, because they shall obtain compassion.  (8)  “Blessed are the clean in heart,1 because they shall see Elohim. Footnote: 1Ps. 24:3-4.  (9)  “Blessed are the peacemakers, because they shall be called sons of Elohim.  (10)  “Blessed are those persecuted for righteousness’1 sake, because theirs is the reign of the heavens. Footnote: 11Pet. 3:14.  (11)  “Blessed are you when they reproach and persecute you, and falsely say every wicked word against you, for My sake.

Psa 1:1-2 The Scriptures 1998+  (1)  Blessed is the man who shall not walk in the counsel of the wrong, And shall not stand in the path of sinners, And shall not sit in the seat of scoffers,  (2)  But his delight is in the Torah of יהוה {Jehovah}, And he meditates in His Torah day and night.

Mat 25:34 The Scriptures 1998+  (34)  “Then the Sovereign shall say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the reign prepared for you from the foundation of the world

Jos 1:8 The Scriptures 1998+  (8)  “Do not let this Book of the Torah depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you guard to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and act wisely.
Jos 1:7 The Scriptures 1998+  (7)  “Only be strong and very courageous, to guard to do according to all the Torah which Mosheh My servant commanded you. Do not turn from it right or left, so that you act wisely wherever you go.

Not everyone in the churches of Christ are “ungodly”

English: A of .
English: A of . (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Last Thursday up tot the end of the weekend it was time again for the many communion feasts and Spring feasts in Belgium.
The Catholic churches have to face a lessening in communion feasts. The second communion is mostly placed aside to celebrate with the humanists and atheists their Spring feast.

It is the sign that more and more people are leaving church. They complain about the several acts of church people which are not acceptable by ethic and normal people. The population has encountered to many cases of paedophile clergy, which has made them lose interest in those who should preach the faith in sacred love and love for God.

Lots of people spit on the church, but they do forget that there are many more churches than the Catholic Church. They also seem to forget that not all the priests and bishops in that Catholic church are such pervert beings. Strange also when they would really believe in God, that they do not seek for other solutions, other churches, other people of God.

Would we all "have to blame Jesus Christ for Judas Iscariot?" asks also John T. Polk II.
His answers is:
No, because “Satan entered Judas” (Luke 22:3). {5-8-2015 Why Reject Jesus’ Church?}
He still considers his church as the church of Christ, the body of Jesus Christ today (Colossians 1:24), and wonders why to blame the churches of Christ for the “ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ” (Jude 1:4 NKJV)?
But should the church not be an example for the gentiles? Should those who are in charge of the church live according to what they preach and according to what they demand from their flock?

He is right in saying:
It seems people want to dismiss the churches of Christ by emphasizing the hypocritical few.
We also may not reject Jesus because of Judas, and should not reject the church of Christ because some have failed to be faithful.
Paul wrote “To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are in Colosse” (Colossians 1:2).
Everyone in the churches of Christ are not “ungodly,” anymore than all Apostles are betrayers of Jesus Christ!
John T. Polk II writes

People should come to see that there are many more churches than the Roman Catholic church or any other church where they bow in front of crucifixes, graven images and paintings, contrary to the demands of the Most High God.

It’s useful to realize that we are two years away from marking the 500th Anniversary of the “symbolic” beginning of the Protestant Reformation, noted to have begun on October 31, 1517 by Martin Luther.

Peter Traben Haas  writes:
Of course, like all movements, it is impossible to peg a precise date, since often such movements emerge from within a multi-dimensional environment with diverse social factors and influences. But, for all practical purposes, Luther’s posting of the 95 Thesis is as good a moment as any to mark the Reformation’s beginning. {2020 Vision & Formation 2017}
Throughout the ages many changes took place. We even can notice when there where efforts to come back to the Word of God, the Scriptures Alone, and getting away from the idolatry, the bowing down in front of pictures, we can see in those renewal movements a shift took place after a few years and as such in many protestant churches we can find today also again a lot of pictures or Christ and of God and even of different saints.

Peter Traben Haas does think that
2015 is a good time to begin thinking about how Christianity has changed since then, and how Christianity is currently evolving, and more importantly, what might be the next phase of spiritual evolution Christianity is moving into. Everything is growing, including the sphere of consciousness in which Christianity “lives, moves and has its being,” and we would want to grow with it. Most of us are, which is probably one reason why you are reading this.{2020 Vision & Formation 2017}
For sure anno 2015 lots of 'church people' do not take much time to read the bible or to spend time with or to pray to the Most High God.
the contemplative dimension of Christianity is a niche “market,” primarily visible in monastic communities and other like-minded teachers, groups and organizations, such as Richard Rohr or Contemplative Outreach. For the majority of Christian’s, though, “contemplative” is a “boutique” way of being and doing Christian life, totally appropriate for retreats and monasteries, but not yet ready for the mainstream, so the thinking goes. But such ignoring and resistance is about to shift into attention and acceptance. {2020 Vision & Formation 2017}
writes Peter Traben, who would like to see a
Sola Silence. Sola Solitude. Sola Stillness,  Simplicity and Service.
But God perhaps does not want such a silence. God and His son want us to go out in the world proclaiming the Good News. Coming closer to the end times we should shout even more clearly and pronounce to the world the necessity to come closer to God and to worship the Divine Creator, thanking Him for His son who has brought salvation to the world.

Those who love God should let others know that they love the heavenly Father and that they would like to see that more people would come to love this Only One God. It is our task to let the world that not all people are ungodly or are people who love to tell lies or do not mind telling lies. The world has to know that there are still many people who prefer not to tell lies and to worship that One God Who did not tell lies.

That God said about the man in the river Jordan that he was His begotten beloved son. His words we should accept and spread throughout the world, so that all people can come to know Jesus Christ, our saviour, the Messiah.

We also should invite those around us to come to visit us at our meetings, our church, which is the Body of Christ. In-there we should show them what the real  love of Christ is and how we want to share that agapé love with each other. To the world we should prove that there are other churches, who have people who really want to live according to the Laws of Christ and to the Laws of God.

It is up to you, believer, to show the world not all in the Church of God are ungodly.

Bible, helmet of health, salvation and sword of the spirit

“((To the Chanter, a Psalm of David.)) The very heavens declare the glory of God, and the very firmament sheweth his handiwork.” (Psalms 19:1 TRC)

“1  And God spake all these words and said: 2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt and out of the house of bondage. 3 Thou shalt have none other gods in my sight.” (Exodus 20:1-3 TRC)

“For thus sayeth the Lord GOD {|LORDE God|} there to; It shall not so go forth, neither come so to pass:” (Isaiah 7:7 TRC)

“And with that, the LORD stretched out his hand, and touched my mouth, and said moreover unto me. Behold I put my words in thy mouth,” (Jeremiah 1:9 TRC)

“Believest thou not that I am in the father, and the father in me? The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself: but the father dwelling {that dwelleth} in me is he that doeth the works.” (John 14:10 TRC)

“5 And the Levites, Jeshua, and Cadmiel, Bani, Hasabniah, Serebiah, Hodjah, Sebaniah, and Pathahiah, said: Stand up praise the LORD your God forever: and let thanks be given unto the name of thy glory, which exceedeth all thanksgiving and praise. 6 LORD, {|<thou art>|} thou alone hast made heaven, and the heaven of all heavens, with all their host, the earth and all that is therein, the sea and all that is therein: thou givest life unto all, and the host of heaven bow themselves unto thee. 7 Thou art, the LORD, the God that hast chosen Abram, and broughtest him out of Ur in Chaldea, and called him Abraham” (Nehemiah 9:5-7 TRC)

“7  Hear, O my people: let me speak, let me testify among you, O Israel: I am God, even thy God. 8 I reprove thee not because of thy sacrifice, thy burntofferings are alway before me. 9 I will take no bullocks out of thy house, nor goats out of thy folds. 10 For all the beasts of the field are mine, and thousands of cattle upon the hills. 11 I know all the fowls upon the mountains, and the wild beasts of the field are in my sight. 12 If I be hungry, I will not tell thee: for the whole world is mine, and all that therein is. 13 Thinkest thou, that I will eat the flesh of oxen, or drink the blood of goats? 14 Offer unto God praise and thanksgiving, and pay thy vows unto the most highest. 15 And call upon me in the time of trouble, so will I hear thee, that thou shalt thank me. 16  But unto the ungodly sayeth God: Why doest thou preach my laws, and takest my covenant in thy mouth? 17 Where as thou hatest to be reformed, and castest my words behind thee?” (Psalms 50:7-17 TRC)

“11 And the very same, made some Apostles, some Prophets, some Evangelists, some Shepherds, some Teachers: 12 that the saints might have all things necessary to work and minister withal, to the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we everyeachone (in the unity of faith, {|we all come unto one manner of faith|} and knowledge of the son of God) grow up unto a perfect man, after the measure of age which is in {of} the fullness of Christ: {|and become a perfect man in to the measure of the perfect age of Christ|} 14 That we henceforth be no more children wavering and carried with every wind of doctrine, by the wiliness {|wickedness|} of men and craftiness, whereby they lay a wait for us to deceive us.” (Ephesians 4:11-14 TRC)

“And I brethren when I came to you, came not in gloriousness of {|in hye words|} words or of wisdom, shewing unto you the testimony of God. {|preaching of Christ|}” (1 Corinthians 2:1 TRC)

“14 For the natural man perceiveth not the things of the spirit of God: For they are but foolishness unto him. Neither can he perceive them because he is spiritually examined: {|can not perceive it: for it must be spiritually discerned|} 15 but he that is spiritual discusseth all things: yet he himself is judged of no man. 16 For who knoweth the mind of the Lord, other who shall inform him? but we understand the mind of Christ.” (1 Corinthians 2:14-16 TRC)

“Who hath reformed the mind of the LORD? Or who is of his counsel to teach him?” (Isaiah 40:13 TRC)

“20 So that ye first know this, that no prophecy in the scripture hath {|is done of|} any private interpretation. 21 For the scripture {|prophecy|} came never by the will of man: but wholy men of God spake as they were moved by the wholy ghost.” (2 Peter 1:20-21 TRC)

“But that comforter which is the holy ghost (whom my father will send in my name) {<he>} shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance whatsoever I have told you.” (John 14:26 TRC)

“16 For all scripture given by inspiration of God, is profitable to teach, to improve, to inform, {amend} and to instruct in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be perfect, and prepared unto all good works.” (2 Timothy 3:16-17 TRC)

“7 The chief point of wisdom is, that thou be willing to obtain wisdom, and before all thy goods to get the understanding. 8 Make much of her and she shall promote thee: Yea if thou embracest her, she shall bring thee unto honour. 9 She shall make thee a gracious head, and garnish thee with a {|the|} crown of glory.” (Proverbs 4:7-9 TRC)
