Ukraine Poroshenko-Denisenko plan to form independent Orthodox church in Ukraine

In the Ukraine we may find Patriach Filaret (born Denisenko) a former cleric of the Moscow Patriarchate, who left the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) in 1992 following the collapse of the Soviet Union. He had lost an ecclesiastical election and tried to form his own church, the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kiev Patriarchate (UOC-KP) and therefor he became excommunicated. His church is not recognized by any of the other members of the international community of Orthodox churches. 

Now the Poroshenko government, formed in the beginning of the civil war that followed the U.S.-backed 2014 bloody coup in the “Euromaidan” uprising, is favouring the split-off of the traditional church by the anti-Moscow church known as the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Kiev Patriarchate (UOC-KP)

They have called on Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew in Istanbul to remove the authority of the Moscow Patriarchate and recognize a new, single independent Orthodox church in Ukraine, severing all ties to Moscow.

The single church in the Poroshenko-Denisenko plan would carry the UOC-KP name with the authority, according to Denisenko, to seize all churches, temples, chapels, monasteries and other properties belonging to the UOC-MP. 

It would mean dispossessing the historic UOC-MP, which has direct “apostolic” continuity with the 1030-year-old original Kievan church and Christianity in the Eastern Roman empire, once brought there by Christ’s own disciples. UOC-MP said they would not pray in church together with the excommunicated Denisenko.

Evangelicalism in France on the rise

It looks like Evangelicalism in France is on the rise, a study by the National Council of Evangelicals in France (CNEF) has found.
The study reported by Evangelical Focus shows around 35 new evangelical churches were opened in France last year or three a month.

France is an overwhelmingly Catholic country, with an estimated 56 per cent of the population having been baptised. Some of the cities may still have very conservative priests and institutions who do not allow people in their churches with bare arms and legs. (Two years ago I was sometimes considered to naked to enter a church but not enough naked to walk on the beach.) In some cities you also can see nuns and priests still clothed in their long dresses and nuns with covered heads. But for the amount of citizens who go to the Catholic church it seems the youngsters are not so much interested in that Catholic faith. The Catholic Church suffers from an aging and over-stretched priesthood and a shortage of vocations, and weekly mass-going is estimated at only around six per cent, which is much more than in Belgium.

The protestant church seems to be more attractive to many youngsters because they offer services with lots of entertainment.
There are around 650,000 evangelical Christians in France, around a third of all Protestants, and according to CNEF study the numb has increased tenfold in the last 60 years.

Prayer Bible verses to help us to get a deeper conversation with God

Many people consider Jesus to be God and as such Jesus praying to himself. Though Jesus did not pray to himself but to his heavenly Father which he considered to be greater than Him. Jesus very well knew he could not do much without his heavenly Father. Consider the two scriptures that follow, as they relate to personal prayer times of the one sent by God to the earth to declare Him.

Luke 6:12: One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.

Matthew 14:23: After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone.

All who love God and want to follow Christ Jesus should remember that he asked his followers to pray to his Father and to go out into the world to preach the gospel of the coming Kingdom of God.

Every follower of Christ should consider setting aside a time and place for continuous and uninterrupted prayer. Each of us should make it a discipline that can not, and will not be interrupted.

Some may find that prayer can be exhausting, so it should not be something that will take away from themselves freshness of intimacy with God. Therefore they better can take some time for themselves remembering some prayer verses which were given by the master teacher himself and by his disciples of the first hour.

When taking time for prayer we should not mind all sorts of way to come into a good conversation with our heavenly Father. We also should not do it once in a while but regularly.

For those who do everything to stop the work of Christadelphians

In this godless world we do find lots of people who try to get people away from their faith in the only One True God. The majority of the people who are against Christadelpians are people who call themselves Christian. They tell all sort of lies about the founding fathers of the Christadelphians and mostly have no idea how they wanted to be seen in a movement which was to follow Christ and not as such an other human person. What disturbs them so much is that Christadelphians do not worship a triune godhead or the Trinity. This makes them so cross that they find they can use all sort of means to get the Christadelphians or Brothers in Christ, out of the picture. Though the Christadelphians are not the only one they fight against. The other even more well-known denomination is the Jehovah's Witnesses, which they hate even more.

Looking at those people who fight against the Jehovah's Witnesses (JW) and the Christadelphians (Cd) is that they really go against the Only One True God Who is One. In reality their action can be more seen as a fight against Jehovah the God of gods Himself and against Jehovah and the organisations He uses on this earth.

What they also do not seem to understand properly is how the JW and Cd are structures or not structured and how they organise their meetings or worship services. For the JW it is more clear for them how the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society directs everything. For the Cd they also think there is a general governing body like the Governing Body of the JW. But then they see some differences in the several groups and claim than those groups are not following John Thomas or are having their own weird teachings. Looking at their discussions about those teaching we mostly see that they did not take the effort to really look in detail to the teachings of the Christadelphians, and continue to build their fantasies on sayings from other trinitarian denominations who wrote untrue things of the Christadelphians.

It is clear that their agenda is not only to destroy those non-trinitarian denominations, but that they really want to try every one away from the Only One True God Who is an unseen eternal Spirit. Because they want to get every body to believe in their Trinity and to their denomination, we can say that their aim is really to work against Jehovah's followers and therefore it can be said that they are anti-Jehovah.
They may call us the anti-christ, but it are more them that are the Anti-Christ, spoken about in Scriptures.

To sacrifice our being for Christ

The Nazarene Jew Jeshua (Jesus Christ) put his own will aside and offered himself as a lamb for God, as a ransom for us all.

Now time has come that we should also let him and his heavenly Father see Who we want to follow and Who we want to have as our God. Jesus showed his love for his God, Who is the Only One God of Israel, the God of Abraham. He asked his followers to become one with his God like he is one with Jehovah God. Coming closer to the time of Great Tribulation it is time to show the world to who you want to belong. It is high time to show the world for what you care and what or whom you love.

Did you ever ask yourself for whom you would risk everything?

Today we still face this materialistic world. But we should know that time for this world is limited. Today there are still many people, kings, presidents, ministers, as leaders demanding people to follow them and who reign their country as if it belongs to them. But everything on earth belongs to the Divine Creator. When he created this world He had a purpose for it and it shall become a reality whatever man may try to do.

In the New Testament we do find Jesus telling many stories in the form of parables which should open our eyes and should let us think about the reign to come and to look for. He talks about a realm of heaven and calls us to put our hands to work and help get the ground prepared to receive the love of God.He gives many examples how faith without works is dead and how we should be careful not to loose the entrance to the Kingdom of God by not living up to God's Wishes or not fulfilling God's commandments.

When looking at the Scriptures we can see how we are challenged to train our eyes to look beyond the problems and to see the promises of the world around us. And we have been told, repeatedly, that the “reign of heaven” is small, even hidden, but it is always at work. We are called to look for the hidden treasure and to go for Biblical truth and not to be of this world, loving all those materialist and perischable treasures.

Look around us we should see what is good and what is bad and learn from it. Though there are many who think by the death of Christ everybody is saved and does not have to do anything any-more, we should know that we for sure still have to do a lot of work. Every day we should work at ourself. Every hour of the day we should try to build up our Christlike character. that shall not so easy as so many think. It demands an effort. 

Jesus asks us to come together and to meet each-other regularly to study the Word of God and to praise the Most High. Together we should form a unit, giving ourself as inhabitant of the realm of Christ. As partakers of his spiritual Body, we should feel united and work to keep everything around us pure and 'sanctified'.
Every one of the partakers of the Body of Christ should be wiling to give himself or herself to Christ Jesus, putting the own selfish I away. 

Each person on this earth should be looking for the hidden treasures of God and should know that the “reign of heaven” is like a discovery that disrupts all other priorities, and those who make the discoveries have their entire lives shaped by them. 

Those who love Jesus and want to have a good relationship with him and his heavenly Father should be prepared to put the earthly wishes aside and go for heavenly treasures. They should not be afraid for those of the world who do not want to know about God and who would laugh at those who want to give their life to God. But those who know better shall be happy to give their life to the One God and to present themselves as sons of the realm. For it is in the believe in Jesus that we want to go as partakers of the Body of Christ, willing to unite in his Church, which is the Church of God.

With the knowledge that there is the Unseen God Who has prepared the unseen realm and shall present the earthly realm to mankind, to those who are ready for it, we may have the assurance in the hope that one day the world shall have to face that reality of the Great Kingdom, which shall go above all kingdoms of the world.

Giving ourselves to Christ shall make our union sealed and secure.

Partakers and sons of the Realm

In this world, coming closer to the end times, we can see how all the prophesies concerning those times are coming true and visible.

First we had the war in Afghanistan and Iraq, then we had children revolting against their parents, an increase of natural disasters, and more and more religious groups starting to fight against each other. the world shall have to become aware that a great tribulation shall come over this world. In that universal war the words of Jesus to his apostle Peter will be true:

 “All they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.” (Matt. 26:52, AV) 

But those abiding by the words of Isaiah 2:4, who come under attack by Gog of Magog, will survive the universal war, just as Noah and his family survived the global flood.

It are those who shall unite with each other as children of Christ and sons of the realm, being in union with each other, like Jesus is in union with his heavenly Father, who shall strengthen each other so that each member shall be able to withstand that awful period of great war.  We shall need that strength and should count on Jesus and his God (our God) to be with us and to be our refuge.

Together as brothers and sisters in Christ we shall be looking for that light in the darkness and shall climb the mountain of Jehovah, the Kingdom territory under Christ,where the veil of Satan does not exist (Isa. 25:7, AS). It is to its protection that men and women and children from all nations are told to flee now, and hundreds of thousands have already done so, and many more thousands are in the process of fleeing, and still other thousands will yet wake up and flee, and all together they will survive the war from heaven to enjoy everlastingly the peace it brings to earth. they shall find each other in ecclesiae (churches or prayer halls) to meet as brothers and sisters, praising the Only One True God, Jehovah.

As brothers and sisters in Christ we become children of God and become to belong to God His Realm, the Kingdom of God. We united as children of God shall have that marvellous prospect of
becoming to belong to the earthly class of sheep who shall find peace here on earth.

 “Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the world’s foundation.” (Matt. 25:34, NW)

 Christ is spoken of as

 “the Lamb who was slaughtered from the world’s foundation,”

meaning the new world of visible and invisible parts, or earthly and heavenly parts, and for which world he became the foundation when he died and shed his blood and later presented the merit of his shed blood before Jehovah in heaven. When Jehovah created the earth he meant for it to be inhabited and put Adam and Eve on earth to populate it, and he held out the hope of earthly life to faithful men before Christ; so an earthly class was purposed or predestinated long before Christ’s sacrifice laid the foundation for it. Also those who are to reign with Christ in the heavenly kingdom were predestinated or foreordained as a class “before the world’s foundation.”—Rev. 13:8; Eph. 1:4, NW.

Those lovers of God who believe in the son of God to be the sent one from God and the Messiah may be pleased to forward to those coming times that we as sons of the realm, belonging to the Church of God, shall be allowed to enter that new realm of Christ and God their Kingdom.

The Realm of profession in Christianity

A realm can be a space or area or sphere, but also a community or territory over which a sovereign rules; a kingdom.

Christ Jesus asked his followers to have him as a cornerstone and to gather in union, being part of his spiritual body. We may look at the realm of Christ, his royal domain, the kingdom he may govern from his heavenly Father. Those belonging to Christ should all be partakers of the Body of Christ and as such also be members of the realm of Christ. Together as members of the Body of Christ the followers of the Nazarene Jeshua should have as their profession the proclamation of the Good News of the coming Kingdom of God.

In Scriptures we do find people mentioned to be part of the realm of Christ.

In the Bible we find  people mentioned who as individuals showed their love for God and got them as persons separated from the nations that are gathered before Jesus his throne. They look forward to being blessed by the Kingdom of Jesus Christ and his spiritual “brothers.” So what they inherit is the earthly realm of the Kingdom, where Paradise is to be restored all around the globe. 

When Jehovah God made our earth he purposed for it to become a paradise everywhere, and he put man and woman on earth to make it that way, starting with the garden of Eden, or Paradise of Pleasure. The fall of Adam and Eve into sin and death did not deal out a defeat to God’s purpose. (Isaiah 55:11) He at once made preparation for bringing about the earth-wide Paradise by means of a heavenly Kingdom, in which his loyal Son would be the Ruler, or King. It had to be a celestial government if it is yet to crush out of existence the originator of sin and deception, Satan the Devil, a mighty spirit creature.​—Genesis 3:15.

Today we may still find people who want to be part of those close followers of Christ Jesus. They feel called by Jehovah God to unite as brothers and sisters in Christ and as such want to take up the profession of preaching the Gospel and being part of the realm of profession, the Church of Christ.

As “sons of the Realm” they want to be the children of God within that realm of profession, the Church of real followers of Christ, who want to be like a mustard seed becoming a big fruitful tree. though the real followers may be with not many, coming closer to the end times they shall find each other spread all over the world, willing to join hands and to unite under Christ.

Today Christendom, although having taken Christ’s title, is not expressing loyal love to God and his Kingdom Heir nor to Jesus Christ whom they have made into their god. Instead of remaining neutral, it has taken sides in the East-West struggle for world domination, sharing in this world’s materialism and militarism it also has taken opposition against other religions, not allowing other cultures and religions to around them, with the believe that it is God Who allows things to be. It will therefore perish with this old world at Armageddon. In that great war it are those who love God and His son who should share the brotherly love with others and show how there is a need to unite under Christ.

Unto the real of profession belong those who have Christian fruitage: sharing (Romans 15:27, 28; Philippians 1:22); holiness (Romans 6:21); goodness, righteousness, truth (Ephesians 5:9); good work ad knowledge (Colossians 1:10); praise and charity (Hebrews 13:15).

All those  things that build up character and make some one special should be mastered or professionalised by the one who wants to call himself Christian.

The test is on. To go counter to the whole world is not easy. To do so with success we must lean heavily on Jehovah’s loyal love. For our assurance He has caused to be recorded twenty-six times in Psalm 136 alone that “his loyal love is to time indefinite.” (Margin) But we must do our part, for as we read elsewhere: “All the paths of Jehovah are loyal love and truthfulness for those observing his covenant and his reminders.”—Ps. 25:10,

stelt GeenStijl-columnist Ebru Umar. Wat haar betreft gaan alle islamitische gebedshuizen per direct op slot.
Umar:

 "Er is één wet waar we het nooit over mogen hebben want – ja want wat eigenlijk? Godsdienstvrijheid is een recht. Dat dat recht de Nederlandse samenleving de das omdoet omdat de islam nog erger dan onkruid woekert, daar zijn politici blind voor. En wij argeloze burgers die anders willen en dús anders stemmen, staan de blinden niet eens in de weg. Wij hebben het fatsoen om opzij te gaan. Wij wél. En dus zullen er met de dag meer moskeeën bijkomen."

Volgens haar zijn wetten niet in beton gegoten maar simpelweg gemaakt door politici en krijgen de mensen uiteindelijk op hun bord wat zij populistische politici hebben laten voorschotelen.

Wetten worden rücksichtslos aan de kant gezet, als het de boven-ons-gestelden goed uitkomt. Er is één wet waar we het nooit over mogen hebben want – ja want wat eigenlijk? Godsdienstvrijheid is een recht.

Maar dan vraag ik mij wel af hoe dat zij dat recht op  godsdienst bekijkt en hoe vele Nederlanders en Belgen dat wel bekijken. Want hun 'Christelijk geloof' willen en moeten zij wel kunnen uitoefenen, maar anderen horen hier precies niet hun geloof in het openbaar te kunnen vertolken.  In welke mate is er echt geloofsvrijheid als Hindus hun tempels niet moge bouwen of moslims geen openbare moskeeën in het land mogen hebben?

Als men vrijheid van mening wil en vrijheid van godsdienst wil, moet men eenieder zelf vrij laten kiezen welke mening hij of zij er op na wil houden alsook welke godsdienst zij al of niet wil beleven. Ook houdt dat in dat een mens zich vrij naar de godsdienstvoorschriften moet kunnen kleden en gedragen.

Vrijheid houdt tolerantie in. Zonder verdraagzaamheid voor andere meningen of overtuigingen kan er geen goede samenleving zijn.

Op de vraag wat er dan zou moeten gebeuren met gebouwen van Syrisch-, Grieks- en Russisch-orthodoxe kerken en hindoe-, sikh- en boeddhistische tempels, antwoordt Umar via Twitter:

"Mag allemaal dicht, inclusief de kerken. Gelovig zijn doe je maar thuis."

 "dat het radicale secularisme waar zij achter staat niet minder een religie is dan het christendom, het jodendom en, jawel, dan de islam... en dat deze seculiere religie kan wedijveren met de meest intolerante stromingen binnen die grote theïstische religies."

Michael citeert pastoor Jan-Jaap van Peperstraten:

 'Ik hoor regelmatig dat ik eigenlijk geen burgerrechten zou mogen hebben. Gelovige moslims hebben dit echter nog nooit tegen mij gezegd. U weet wel, die mensen waar ik steeds tegen gewaarschuwd word door Ebru cs.'

CIP.nl start met een serie lange artikelen over gebedsgenezing. De artikelen zullen worden geschreven door Matthijs Vlaardingerbroek en hierna worden aangevuld worden met interviews en artikelen van andere christenen in Nederland.

In dat land kijken heel wat gelovigen op naar gebedsgenezers en kan men heel wat fanatieke 'christenen' vinden. Hierbij zijn de meeste gelovige Nederlanders er van overtuigd dat God ook vandaag de dag nog steeds kan genezen en dat dit, hoewel niet in de mate van de tijd van Jezus, soms nog steeds gebeurt. 

Men mag niet vergeten dat in de bijbel duidelijk staat dat de mensen moeten aankloppen en vragen, alsook dat God niemand onnodig laat afzien en steeds bereid is om mensen nabij te komen. zo mogen wij er zeker van zijn dat God nog steeds bovennatuurlijk ingrijpt in het leven van mensen, die hierdoor op een wonderbaarlijke manier bevrijding, genezing en herstel vinden. Echter zien wij dat niet iedereen geneest die God om genezing vraagt. Eerlijker zou zijn om te zeggen dat slechts een heel klein percentage van christelijke (en niet-christelijke) zieken genezen. Op de vraag:

 “Waarom konden Jezus en zijn discipelen veel meer mensen met Gods kracht genezen dan wij vandaag de dag?”

heeft de artikelen schrijver ook geen kant-en-klaar antwoord. Hij denkt er wel veel over na en blijft op zoek naar mogelijke verklaringen.

Joop Paardenpoep reageerde al op de aanzet van de reeks en schreef:

Meneer Vlaardingerbroek is op basis van z'n eigen pijn en frustratie al lange tijd hard aan het roepen, maar nu graag een keer cijfers en argumenten! 

Dat zou ook niet slecht zijn dat wij eens echt cijfers zien van al dat werk dat die Nederlandse gebedsgenezers leveren en welk resultaat zij kunnen opbrengen. Als wij ze op televisie aan het werk zien geloof ik dat er veel poespas bij komt te kijken en dat het show werk er de bovenhand haalt, waarbij men de kwaliteit van het predikingswerk en genezingswerk in twijfel kan trekken.

God heeft een duidelijk doel met ons mensen en met zijn hele schepping.
In het Nieuwe Testament wordt dat helder en duidelijk neergezet:

 “ … opdat je zult volstromen met Gods volkomenheid …”!

 Ook weten wij dat de mens zelf de wereld in handen heeft en dat God hem de mogelijkheid heeft gegeven om zijn plan te trekken, de wereld te regeren en  om zelf keuzes te maken. In deze materialistische wereld zien wij dat de meerderheid wil blijven vasthouden aan de vele leugens van de tegenstanders van God en hierdoor verstoppertje blijven spelen voor God, waardoor wij helaas ook buiten het doel en het Plan van God blijven.

Een groot probleem in onze tijd is de opstelling tegenover het Woord van God, zowel in het modernisme in de religie, als ook in allerlei overleveringen en leringen van mensen, die nog steeds de voorkeur wensen te geven aan menselijke leerstellingen in plaats van Bijbelse leerstellingen.
Hierdoor wordt het Woord van God bij veel mensen van zijn kracht beroofd en krijgen een heleboel mensen geen duidelijkheid door dat zij aan die verwarrende dogma's vasthouden.





Hierbij kan men de vraag stellen of die mensen die naar zoor gebedsgenezers gaan wel degelijk geloven of hopen op een mirakel en zo van hun pijn verlost te zijn. Voor sommigen doet het er eigenlijk niet toe of die persoon van de duivel of iemand anders komt, als zij maar genezen zijn.

Manuela Dieleman zegt hier op

Eigenlijk is het heel eenvoudig: Wie niet gelovig en vertrouwend bidt om genezing, wordt in ieder geval niet genezen. En als je er wel om bidt, laat je God vrij, want Hij weet het beste wat goed voor je is en voor Zijn plan met je leven in Zijn koninkrijk. 

Dat God weet wat het beste is voor ons zien veel mensen echter niet zitten.   een grote meerderheid denkt zelf wel te weten wat voor hen het beste is. Daarbij is bij vele mensen het vertrouwen in God ver te zoeken. Ook mag men niet vergeten dat de meerderheid van die bezoekers aan gebedsgenezers nog eens mensen zijn die wie weet een verkeerde god aanbidden. Als zij al gelovig zijn hangen zij meestal een drie-eenheidskerk aan en aanbidden zij Jezus als hun god in plaats van de God van Jezus te aanbidden. Vraag is dan ook in welke mate God hun geloof in Jezus als een aanvaardbaar geloof  of hun vraag als een haalbare kaart wil aanschouwen.

Kan men niet stellen dat wie het Woord van God aan de kant schuift, niet moet menen dat hij aanspraak kan maken op de werking van God en op het eeuwige leven?

Is er in de Schrift niet duidelijk aangegeven dat men slechts één God mag aanbidden? Jazeker! En dat is wat mensen sowieso zullen moeten komen in te zien.  Ook zullen de mensen moeten komen beseffen dat God er wel wil zijn voor hen die in Hem willen geloven maar dat Hij hen niet zomaar kan vrijwaren van al het slechte, doordat de mens de wereld in handen heeft en God ook niemand voor zich wil winnen op Zijn wijze van geven of iemand aan Hem gebonden krijgen wegens de verwachtingen van mensen naar Hem toe. Dat zou trouwens al te makkelijk zijn om dan de 'suikernonkel' of 'naïeve papa' te paaien en alles van hem los te krijgen.

Men kan om een goed inzicht in die materie te krijgen best het verhaal van Job nog eens door nemen. Ook al was hij een gerechtvaardigd mens die het eerst zeer goed had, kwam hij ook in de miserie en konden allerlei mensen rondom hem ook beschuldigingen uiten naar hem, dat hij niet godsvruchtig genoeg was, enz. maar toch bleef Job getrouw aan God. Wij ook, doorheen al onze zorgen, problemen, pijnen en verdriet moeten wij onze weg door dit leven banen en vertrouwen op God, die ons hart kent.

Ook al moeten wij in dit leven misschien ferm afzien, mogen wij er op aan dat diegene die het Woord van God hoort en ernaar handelt, ‘zalig’ (volmaakt gelukkig) zal zijn en worden.

Betreft predikers die rond gaan om mensen het Goede Nieuws te verkondigen maar ook handen op te leggen en te genezen, kan men de vraag stellen in welke mate dat in een religieuze dienst moet plaats grijpen en in welke mate de besproken genezingsdaden van de eerste eeuw, verricht door de apostelen, nu ook nog door de huidige verkondigers kunnen verricht worden of de vraag stellen door wie en voor wie.

Naar aanleiding van de CIP reeks merkt Wim Peeters ook op:

In Mattheus 4:23 zien wij dat het "seizoen" van genezingen begon met het onderwijzen exclusief en uitsluitend aan het Joodse volk over koningschap van een aards rijk. Dat bleef ook aanhouden tot de Joden aanleiding vonden het koningschap over een aardse koninkrijk niet langer meer kon worden verwacht. Immers werd duidelijk in (Handelingen 15) binnen het Evangelie van het kruis en de overwinning over de dood, er geen onderscheid meer mocht bestaan, (vers 9) over "hen" heidenen en "ons" Joden.

Gayformatorisch Dagblad

Onder de titel Gayformatorisch Dagblad brengt stichting Roze Maandag eenmalig een krant uit over homoseksualiteit en geloof. De uitgave wil „een dialoog op gang brengen.” 

De krant verschijnt digitaal en in een beperkte gedrukte oplage, die via onder meer bibliotheken wordt verspreid. De eerste voorvertoning heeft plaats tijdens een bijeenkomst op 27 juni in de Clarissenkapel in Tilburg, in aanloop naar de zogeheten roze maandag op de Tilburgse kermis in juli.

De al eerder aangekondigde krant is een reactie op de commotie over de flyers van Civitas Christiana die in maart via het Reformatorisch Dagblad werden verspreid, en waarop een rood kruis staat op de foto van twee zoenende mannen, zegt voorzitter Rona van der Heijden van stichting Roze Maandag.

 „Deze flyer sloot mensen uit, terwijl wij juist staan voor insluiting. We willen laten zien dat geloof en geaardheid, inclusief een huwelijk tussen man en man of vrouw en vrouw, elkaar niet hoeven te bijten.”

Hierin werd geprotesteerd tegen de 'zedenloze' posters van SuitSupply, waarop twee mannen met elkaar zoenen. De flyers waren van de actiegroep 'Gezin in Gevaar' van de conservatief-katholieke stichting Civitas Christiana. 

Naar aanleiding daarvan begon activist Jasper Klapwijk een crowdfundingsactie om een advertentie in het Reformatorisch Dagblad te krijgen die positief was over relaties tussen mensen van hetzelfde geslacht. De krant plaatste deze advertentie  niet. 

Men zou algemeen moeten komen te aanvaarden dat mensen een bepaald geloof kunnen aanhangen, waarbij anderen hun geaardheid niet als een onoverkomelijk iets moeten aanschouwen om hun uit te sluiten of al of niet in een gemeenschap op te nemen.

Christenen moeten ook inzien dat zij de geest van Christus Jezus moeten aannemen en daarbij open moeten staan voor allerlei mensen en verschillende culturen. Wel mogen zij die bij een bepaald geloof willen behoren niet vergeten welke de leerredenen zijn van die geloofsgroep.

Vreemd is de zinspeling naar het Reformatorisch Dagblad.

 Niet beledigend 

De naam Gayformatorisch Dagblad is gekozen

 „omdat we een naam zochten die een beetje schuurt en uitnodigt tot lezen.”

Zowel op de bijeenkomst in de Clarissenkapel in Tilburg als in de krant komen mensen aan het woord die „een geloofsovertuiging hebben” en homo zijn. Dit kunnen bijvoorbeeld ook moslims zijn.

 „We zijn er volop mee bezig. Ik kan nog geen concrete namen noemen.”

Het verhaal van een homoseksuele christen die op Bijbelse gronden geen relatie wil aangaan, past even goed in de krant als dat van een getrouwde homo, zegt Van der Heijden.

 „We willen zo breed mogelijk zijn. De hoofdredactie van het Reformatorisch Dagblad nodigen we eveneens uit om een bijdrage te leveren. Uiteraard voeren wij wel de eindredactie en geldt dat artikelen nooit beledigend of aanstootgevend mogen zijn.”

Verbaasd 

Hoofdredacteur Steef de Bruijn van het Reformatorisch Dagblad zegt in een reactie dat hij verbaasd was over de naam ”gayformatorisch”.

„De lezers zullen straks uiteraard het verband leggen met de aanduiding ”reformatorisch” en ik hoop dat ze zich gaan afvragen waar die naar verwijst. Ik ga zeker gebruik maken van de gelegenheid onze opvatting over homoseksualiteit en homorelaties aan de lezers van deze speciale krant voor te houden.”
